In 2017, Pandora's total revenue was DKK 22.8 billion. With 117 million pieces of jewellery crafted in Thailand in 2017 to be sold in more than 100 countries on six continents through around 7,800 points of sale, Pandora PRODUCTION THAILAND (PPT), the crafting facilities in Thailand, is recognised as the world's largest jewellery manufacturer by the production volume.
Pandora has been manufacturing its jewellery in Thailand since 1989 when Per Enevoldsen, Pandora's founder and a goldsmith by trade, set up the foundation for the company's crafting facilities in Bangkok.
In 2003, Pandora moved the crafting facilities to the Gemopolis Industrial Estate on the outskirts of Bangkok, and opened a first scale, four-storey, fully-owned crafting facility there in 2005. In 2008, a second manufacturing facility was opened in the same area, followed by more facilities over the years, including our Innovation Centre in 2013. Key to product development, the Innovation Centre is where design, scientific research and technical development come together in a state-of-the-art facility in Bangkok.
In 2016, a new crafting facility in Lamphun, a beautiful province in Northern Thailand, was completed. The facility meets the highest demands regarding CSR and sustainability and has been accredited with the GOLD certification within Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED).
As one of the world's largest jewellery exporting countries, Thailand has a long tradition of high-quality jewellery production. Here, Pandora benefits from a strong infrastructure, easy access to raw material suppliers and, most importantly, high-quality craftsmanship from a skilled, passionate workforce.

Today, Pandora Production Thailand (PPT) employs more than 13,200 employees in Bangkok and Lamphun, the majority of whom work on crafting jewellery. Bringing Pandora's high-quality, modern, genuine jewellery products to life in a cost-effective, fast-to-market way requires the combined contributions of a highly professional team.
With a diverse set of skills and expertise that span managerial, finance, human resources, engineering, IT, planning, safety, designing, materials management, quality, general administration, communications and other key business support functions, our team works closely with key stakeholders internationally to perform at world-class standards.
